French photographer living and working between Paris and Copenhagen

Greatest inspirations or influences Josephine?

Paintings, Japanese photography and cinema.

Tell us about your creative process or visual identity?

I mainly shoot films because I like the slow process and obviously the result behind it. It's a different dynamic than digital, even if I also like using it sometimes. When I don't shoot personal projects and more commercial or commission work I always try to make sure that I feel connected or inspired by the project. That's how I manage to address more emotions and intimacy into my work.

How has this year changed your creativity and how do you see the world moving forward?

From a creative perspective, at the moment I don't feel like it has changed anything in a bad way. I actually had more time to introspect and somehow I feel stronger than I did last year. I feel much more focused on my work and with what I want to do. As for the rest of the world I do worry like anybody else and hope this is going to move forward in a better way.

Who do you consider to be an icon of our time?

A person who can see and show the world with sensitivity. Someone who can respect and understand the priorities that the human kind needs.

Thank you Josephine.
