Investing in Artists Not Just Art
She revolutionised the art industry by focusing on investing in artists rather than just in art. The founder of MTArt Agency is a talent agent, writer, speaker — and a woman who turned the impossible into a business model built on trust, social values, and unyielding ambition.
Investing in Artists, Not Just in Art
Marine Tanguy founded MTArt Agency on a simple but radical premise: that the most important investment in the art world is not a painting, but a person. MTArt is a talent agency that represents the best artists of her generation — and Tanguy wants them to inspire the world.
"The idea came from the very fact that I loved my talents and wanted to give them the best company to empower them and succeed," she explains. "I also felt that my clients wanted to connect differently with artists."
Since its founding, MTArt has become one of the most forward-thinking agencies in contemporary art — building brand collaborations, public art projects of historic scale, and a collectors community that bridges the world's most prestigious auction houses with the next generation of art lovers.

How Social Media Visuals Affect Our Minds
One of MTArt Agency's most celebrated achievements is a public art project of unprecedented scale: the giant fresco by artist Saype at the foot of the Eiffel Tower — recognised as the largest public art painting in the world. It stands as a testament to Tanguy's conviction that art belongs in the streets, not just in galleries.

That our artists trust us to be successful daily, and they are trusting us with what they have most precious: their careers. I am also very proud to have built a company that is profitable, yet with very strong social values. I like that we have done the impossible on all fronts.
Simone Veil — for what she has been through and yet tried to give the best to humans and inspire progressive ideas.
I feel that we can now build stronger communities thanks to social media, and I also feel that it has broken down the hierarchy of talents — more and more people get to decide who is inspiring us visually. It's more democratic.
I have loved my twenties for being twenties — experimental, building foundations and social values. I am now excited to enter my thirties and build on top of my foundations: for my business to get bigger and more successful for more artists, and for my friendships and relationships to be deeper.
"Live the life of your imagination — and it worked."
