Often I hear Disney is the reason girls are so messed up, because as girls we grow up to expect and wait for our sweet prince charming to come and rescue us and give us our happy ever after.  That's why I am totally enjoying the series by Mexican artist José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros’ ongoing theme of disenchanted and very contemporary Disney characters.

The artist has been painting Disney’s beloved princesses and heroes in less than compromising situations for years and has exhibited at La Luz De Jesus Gallery in L.A.  So in honor of Valentines Day coming up I had to share this brilliant work titled  – Prince Charming (We Know That Sh*t Ain’t Real) .
