Love this first music video " Maso Masochiste" for French artist Alexia It totally brings me back to the 80's in Europe with a stylish, playful and funky twist.

Inspirations/Influences Alexia?

I'm inspired by 80's icons. Also actresses and singers such Brigitte Bardot, the young Cher, Rita Mitsouko, & Lio.

How did you come up with the idea for the video?

I used to be an actress and I met my producer in Paris who's now a really good friend.  We had many talks about French music in general and decided we wanted to create something new, funny, creative and kitsch, no commercial crap.

Upcoming music plans?

Yes an album on the way. Always funny and sarcastic,  speaking about problems that young women face everyday in a mans world.

I moved in NYC two years ago and never want to leave. As an artist, this town makes me feel more creative.
