Arabic Graffiti

Arabic Graffiti is a new anthology by Berlin street culture tastemaker Don Karl and Lebanese typographer Pascal Zoghbi exploring the use of Arabic script in an urban context.

This week I attended the launch at Art Lounge in Beirut and it was so refreshing to see a curation of graffiti artists from the Middle East and around the world, who incorporate Arabic calligraphy styles in their art, particularly when street art tends to focus on Western lettering and culture.
