Saule: The Kazakh Model with a Global Spirit

Saule: The Kazakh Model with a Global Spirit

Born and raised in Kazakhstan, Saule A.M began modeling at 17 with one simple goal: to see the world. The first year was challenging—building a portfolio took time—but after signing with Mannequin Agency in Singapore, her career skyrocketed. When Wilhelmina Dubai brought her to the region, her striking, exotic beauty made waves. We sat down with Saule to discuss her journey, inspirations, and life in fashion.

Greatest Inspirations?

"My mom," she says without hesitation. "She inspires me with her kindness, work ethic, and honesty—the most important qualities a person can have." Beyond family, Saule finds motivation in everyday moments—watching people take pride in their work, whether they’re teachers, drivers, or artists. "Fashion also inspires me because it’s creativity in motion. It’s wearable art."

Favorite Shoot So Far?

"There are too many to pick just one!" she laughs. But one recent standout was a Body Shop campaign in London, where she had to "act" while demonstrating a face mask in a video. "It was my first time doing something like that, and I loved the challenge. Working with such professionals—you learn so much, and the energy is incredible."

The Best (and Not-So-Best) Parts of Modeling

The perks? "Traveling, of course—who wouldn’t love that?" She thrives on meeting fascinating people worldwide and, as a self-proclaimed foodie, sampling every cuisine possible. As for downsides? "There’s nothing I hate, but patience is key. Like any job, it has its waiting games."

Go-To Websites & Style Icons

Saule keeps up with fashion via Harper’s Bazaar’s Facebook for sharp articles and trends. Her designer crushes? Vivienne Westwood, DVF, Karl Lagerfeld, and Olivier Rousteing—masters who blend boldness with timeless elegance.

Beauty Secrets? Balance & Organic Care

A devotee of organic cosmetics, she swears by Australian brands like Frank Body Scrub. "Life is about balance," she says. When she’s not on set, she mixes gym sessions with yoga to stay grounded—and camera-ready.
