Oleana: Where Buenos Aires Meets Vintage Glamour

Oleana: Where Buenos Aires Meets Vintage Glamour

A Legacy Reimagined

Oleana’s journey began a decade ago in Recoleta, Buenos Aires’ answer to Paris, with its neoclassical facades and cobblestone charm. Though she initially pursued finance in the U.S., destiny called her back to her family’s jewelry legacy. “I returned to my eternal passion,” she says, and today, her designs are coveted across Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, the U.S., England, and France.

Architecture as Muse

Her latest collection draws from the ornate balconies, wrought-iron details, and Art Deco curves of Buenos Aires, blending vintage inspiration with contemporary flair. Collaborations with visual artists, like the “Carnivora” project with Toto Paula Blake, have turned jewels into portable art, showcased at international fairs and museum shops, including Malba (Buenos Aires) and Houston’s Museum of Fine Arts.

The Oleana Woman

“She’s a sophisticated globetrotter,” Oleana explains. “She finds magic in life’s small moments and cherishes objects that tell her story.” Think Simone de Beauvoir’s intellect, Frida Kahlo’s boldness, or Marion Cotillard’s chameleonic elegance—women who embody irreverence and grace.

Inspirations & Rituals

  • Reads: Art Forum and Architectural Digest (“Sometimes, you need old-school inspiration”).

  • Digital Crushes: Garance Doré’s blog and Under Our Sky, a curated platform for Argentine design by Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea.

  • Advice: “Curate your personal collection—clothing, art, jewelry. The world is your marketplace.”
