Today's post is dedicated to my dear friend Victoria Lelandais who commented on a photo I love and posted on instagram telling me to check out the work of this amazing Irish photojournalist Richard Mosse. Rarely do I get so excited to share the work of an artist. Mosse received a BA in English lit from Kings College in London and a photography MFA from Yale School of Art. Born in 1980, the photographer has captured the beauty and destruction of war on locations including Iran, Pakistan, Haiti and is best known for the following collection of infrared images from Congo shot on discontinued military surveillance film.
