MARCO WALKER INTERVIEW
Austrian American photographer Marco Walker was born in London but studied photography in L.A under Paul Jasmin. He assisted on celebrity portraiture a plenty for the likes of Vanity Fair and Universal before moving to San Francisco. It was here he really had the time to develop his talent with up and coming artists in the music industry, and this portfolio that led him to his first show in NY last year. Currently in London shooting for the biggest fashion labels, editorials for Harpers Bazaar and retailers like Browns and Topshop, it was his personal "lifestyle" Burning Man photos I chose to share because they capture the atmosphere and people in such a unique way. Since the Burn, Marco has been on the go shooting backstage the catwalks at fashion weeks in NY, London, & Paris.
