How to combine Cambodian traditions with modern sustainable architecture?

Cambodian Volunteers for Society (CVS) is co-operating with an architectural workgroup KOMITU from Finland to design a youth center to Phnom Penh. The construction is due to start in the fall 2011.

CVS is an NGO that works with youth in urban communities in Phnom Penh aiming to involve the youth in decision making processes of their communities. KOMITU is a group of architects who wish to combine Khmer culture and traditions with new ecologically sustainable construction methods. KOMITU comes from across the globe and they need your help in doing this. Come and hear about the project and tell your opinion about it!

Presentations and workshops are organized in collaboration with Sahmakum Teang Tnaut (STT).
