Nicholas Coblence has worked in marketing and administration for premium brands and arts organizations all over the world for over 10 years. He specializes in the development of new art projects and has worked with highly respected arts organizations such as Ashes and Snow, The Museum of Modern Art, The Guggenheim Museum, and the Batsheva Dance Company. Nicholas has also worked on new brand and product launches for luxury brands such as Chanel, Bill Blass, and Assouline. Nicholas founded his management-consulting firm Sasha’s Project in 2009. Sasha’s Project specializes in brand management, project management, and arts administration in the arts and fashion industry. Nicholas has traveled the world extensively and understands the importance of translating a brand idea across a global spectrum. He has lived in New York, Paris, Venice, Tokyo and Tel Aviv. He holds a BA in Sociology from Vassar College and a MA in Arts Administration from Columbia University.
Greatest inspirations or influences?
hard answer, nothing in particular yet so many things. I love elegant women, amazing music, beautiful buildings (I have always felt that not enough people look up in NYC) and really really creative and tasty food...for me simple is elegant...
Most interesting projects you have worked on ?
The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi…sitting with some of the great minds in the world of contemporary art in the Middle East debating on the role of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi in the region. Also building a museum out of cardboard and shipping containers was pretty cool…
